Use a leaner protein after the workout, and a fattier, slower digesting protein before bed.
My suggestions- GNC Wheybolic Extreme 60 after the workout (Or ON Pro-complex, Nature’s best Isopure, or any 100% Isolated protein, whey peptides are good too)… It’s the better tasting one.
Use Monster Milk, or Muscle Milk before bed. You could also use, MASSXXX by gnc. Just make sure there is slow digesting protein like Casein, and a lot of calories, 300-1000.
More important, Allow the body rest, 1 or 2 days a week. Don’t work out the same muscle group everyday, it takes more than a day to restore muscular glycogen.
Eat good foods, and high calorie meals. If you find yourself gaining fat, find a lower calorie night time protein, like 100% casein, or cut your eating back.
If you want to be big, you have to train big and eat right.
Here are the big three bodybuilding supplements you can’t do without:
1. Weight Gainers – If you’re trying to gain weight, using a weight-gaining supplement can assist in adding the necessary extra calories. They make for the ideal meal-replacement formula combining the correct blends of protein, carbohydrates and vital nutrients..
2. Glutamine – This is an amino acid that when supplemented, helps body builders reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs because other tissues that need glutamine will not rob the glutamine stored in the muscle cells.
3. Creatine – This is what your muscles use as energy and is stored in your muscles cells. Supplementing this means your muscles will have more energy so you will be able to workout harder and increase your workload, leading to quicker size and strength gains.
Best of luck and train hard!
Any form of whey protein isolate will be enough to help build muscle up.
